Admission Policies and Procedures for Preparatory School on the Square and the Westover Preparatory SchoolChildren are admitted to the Colonial Schools regardless of race, creed, color, sex,

national origin or religion.
The Schools are visited twice yearly by the Ohio Department of Human Services.
The maximum number of children per teacher is one adult to ten children aged 3-4, one adult to twelve children aged 4-5, and one adult to fourteen children aged 5-7.
To enroll in our preschool programs, eligible children are three to four years old. For admission into our five-day pre-kindergarten programs, children must be four years old by September first.
For admission into the kindergarten program, we recommend a child reach five years old by May 31st, however exceptions are possible. A developmental screening will be performed by either one of the pre-kindergarten or kindergarten teachers to ensure your child will have a successful kindergarten year.
All classes are filled from within the school first and on a first come, first serve basis according to the date of enrollment. In-school registration is held in January. Out-of-school registrations will be placed in a class by the third week of February. If the classes are full, the child’s name will be placed on a waiting list.
If you are planning on registering your child for enrollment, take a moment to fill out our
enrollment form completely.
